Young Pianist

Emily Bear is only six years old and already she’s played at the White House and composes her own music. I love how she says she’s just a normal kid that plays the piano. The pure joy music brings really shines in her. She is a beautiful gift.

J. S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos

In my opinion, the Brandenburg Concertos comprise some of the most glorious, motivating works of art in the world. Written during his time at the court of K├Âthen, Bach had marvelous musicians under his direction and some of his most famous instrumental music originated during this period of his life, including his sonatas and partitas for violin solo, solo cello suites, and the orchestral suites. Here the Brandenburg Concertos are beautifully performed in a historically informed manner by the Freiburger Barockorchester.

LVCO, Symphonic Performance

Our first season as a symphonic orchestra has been a great success and has propelled us into the future of having a full orchestra at the University of La Verne. The La Verne Chamber Orchestra (LVCO) was the inspiration of this original piece. It’s written in an American symphonic style and I am very grateful to the students and community musicians who made this composition and it’s first performance possible.
